I meant what kind of fabric are the sequins glued onto? IS it chiffon? or a knit?

First, hand bast the garment and fit it. Once you sew through the sequins, you will have holes that will show if you want to let it out. When you are ready to machine stitch, you can sew through the sequins. practice on a sample until you find the right needle, throatplate, thread, stitchlength combination. You can just stitch through the sequins or you can carefully remove the sequins that are centerd on the stitching line. It depends on how expensive the fabric is and how much your client wants to pay. Removing the sequins is time consuming and could give a bare look at the seam if you're not careful. Good Luck - JG
