Has anyone out there ever sewed a professional tutu? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

*There is a website, I think it's Dancewear and More that sells tutu patterns and instruction booklets. This is not a project for a beginner. They require perfect fitting, lining, boning, hooping, and other steps not done on other daily projects. You will need special things like steel bones, and heavy twill lining for the bodice, and the wire for the hoop. You can get these supplies at Amazon Drygoods.com. This is a very rewarding project if you decide to go for it! Good luck!

*Thank you for the response. I saw those books and was wondering how difficult they would be to use. It sounds like you've made a tutu before. I'm more nervous about the skirt than the bodice.
