Sewing for babies and children

BellaGabriella | Posted in General Discussion on

Are there any forums out there for sewing for babies and children? Is there one here but I’m missing it? I haven’t visited in awhile…the forum has changed!

BellaGabriella, there are a couple of bloggers who do beautiful sewing for children, with wonderful descriptions and photos and tutorials. I know the first one does much besides children's things; not sure about the second. If you go to their blog sites, there may be links to other forums that are dedicated to children and/or babies.

Thanks so much for the referral, Joan. Yes, I do lots of childrens sewing and just finished a smocked dress for a 5 yr old and a cashmere coat and hat for a two year old. I sew lots of other clothing to but love my gourmet children's wear. You can find it at the link Joan so kindly posted.

Another site is: http://everythingsewingforum.net/viewforum.php?f=33 They have almost a total emphasis on children's clothing but chat about much more. They are a very congenial group of women, grandmas and young moms mostly.

Another is: http://forums.delphiforums.com/Heirloom/start over at the Delphi forums. Very talented ladies here.

Those are the two I would recommend. If you go into google and click on "more" in the upper left, then on "more" again, you will come to a page where you can click on google blogs. You will find many possiblities there.

Hope to see you stop by the blog soon. If you do, go back into the older posts as well to find lots of children's clothing.....Bunny
