I have three Janome machines. Regular sewing machine, Embroidery machine and a serger. I love all of them. It's so easy to sew on them. Not only that but their sewing representative is very helpful  and have taught me how to use all three of them. I also like them because they have a website with useful information such as projects, how to use anything about their machine. They also have a great magazine with great projects to try out. Their instructions are clear. Hope this helps.  Amapola

Hello Dionna, The magazine is Janome Digest. Go to http://www.janome.com  and it will show some of the projects they currently have introduced.  Hope this helps. Amapola

I have had a New Home which I understand is the same as the Janome; one was manufactured to sell out of the country.  My New Home has not been used very much and it has the eletronic feature so when I was to use the machine it was "frozen" and had to go to repair.

We travel a lot and have found some interesting places. We stopped at a , for want of a better word, trapper's store in Custer, SD. They sell all kinds of hides and accessories. I bought quite a few accessories and fingered everything else. Have no idea of how the leather pieces/hides are priced. Can't remember the name of the store except it was on the main street, but I imagine if you contact the Chamber of Commerce, they would have details....if you are interested.
