I am wondering what setting to use when using two different fabrics. For example If i sew a fleece and cotton together , do I use a stitch, needle, and thread according to the fleece or the cotton ?

Sewing Settings
When in doubt, test. Make a sampler from what will be sewn. Size 12 needle and poly thread would be my choice. You may also need to lengthen the stitch a bit to accomodate the extra depth the stitch will need.
