Thanks, Mary. I had more fun going thru each of these sewing rooms when I was planning my own. Its great to be able to found so many different sewing rooms on one site.
Your welcome! It is fun to see what other sewists come up with. I have revamped mine so many times. It seems that I have an ongoing issue of adding too much furniture. Every year or two I have to edit some out. It is time again, I really don't need two dressers with hutches in here so one must go soon.
I am sitting in the walk in closet where my computer desk is, one side has a hanging rod with fabric and the other side has floor to ceiling shelves with plastic bins and boxes and the printer. Great lighting too, and outlets. lol
I need to move frequently, about every 15 minutes. The first time I set up the room, it was organized for efficiency. Now it is set up to encourage getting off my rear and going to get things from different areas. It seems so counterproductive, but is necessary for me.
I've done this so many times through the years, I could write a book on sewing rooms! Too bad I can't make a living going around the country designing these rooms! Now that is a career I could really love! Mary
Well, regarding your career, you could start with an article for Threads!
Thanks, food for thought.....Mary
