sewing supplies off the internet

teebie | Posted in General Discussion on

I was just wondering if anyone has ever ordered heirloom sewing supplies (lace, fabric, etc.) off the internet.  If so what was your experience and who did you order from.

I order from Handmades (www.handmades.com) all the time and have had wonderful experiences with them. I've had a little bit of trouble with Martha Pullen (they used an old address and a box was lost). I've also used Farmhouse Fabrics and Baltazor's for various things. I also order from Country Bumpkin (publishers of Australian Smocking and Inspirations) in Australia and am always amazed at how little time it takes for things to come half-way around the world.
