Angel’s post inspired me. I am new to the Malone, Pottsdam, Massena area of New York, right up near the border of Ottawa, CA. Are there any sewists, embroiderers, smockers up here? Any guilds or groups? Hopefully I will get a response to this. I have belonged to the NH Dressmakers Guild during its existence, quilting guilds, and a SAGA group. I haven’t seen any such resources here. Hopefully someone out there can “hook me up.” I am passionate about sewing and love to share with others.

I haven't the slightest knowledge of your area of New York, but then I'm a new arrival to the Ottawa area, and I'm still trying to find my way around here. Cornwall is a 35 minute ride from our home. We are in Dickinson Center NY, about 20 minutes south of Malone and 20 minutes east of Pottsdam. bunny
