   I'm not familiar with the stores in NY, but I live in Rockville, MD where there is a G Street Fabrics. G Street has a nice selection of shirting fabrics. I'm wondering if you were to call them, if they'd be able to refer you to one or more in NY. I have to believe you'd have great possibilities in NY.

   Thanks, Twila. They might know, so I'll give them a try. If anybody else in New York has any references, it'd be much appreciated.

   If you look under the heading of general sewing (I think that's the one) on the left, there's a whole thread about the NYC garment district.  I'm sure you'll find loads of sources.  If you're not near NYC, let us know your area, and I'm sure someone will know of a place for you.

   Check out this site.  I've ordered their swatches packet and was very surprised at how many they sent and how big they were.  They are in NY somewhere.
