Lately I find I must sign in with name and password each time I click on to Gatherings – is this a new system? it’s quite a nuisance. Is there some way I can bypass this?

Do you clear your history on your computer(like after internet banking), or does your computer ask you if you want your name and password remembered? If you clear your history, you have to reset your name and password. If you answer no to the question, it will not remember it on your computer, and you have to sign in each time. Check your settings. It also happens if you sign in under 2 different browsers. I usually use Firefox, but if I forget and go directly from my email on Windows Internet Browser, I have to sign in again. Cathy

Melanie, have you recently run a virus scan on your computer? Every time we do that, we have to sign in again for Threads, but not other sites we're a part of, for some reason. Cathy has good advice for you, too.
