There was a thread on this recently.
Several sources were mentioned. The one that stands out (because of economical price) is Dharma Trading (at http://www.dharmatrading.com/, look for the tab for silk fabrics on left).
The Sewing Place (at http://www.thesewingplace.com/index.asp ) has black as well as white and ivory, but it costs much more ($11.75/yard, versus under six dollars at Dharma).
I had purchased it from Nancy's Notion some years ago, but I don't think they still carry it. (They had white and black.)
Other sources were mentioned, I forget what they were...

http://www.thaisilks.com has an assorment of organzas, and their 42" cream colored silk organza is currently on sale for $2.50 per yard. I bought some of this on sale a few months back & was very happy with it.
Great site, thank You! Mary
Marijke,
Thank you so much for the information.

Denver Fabrics has it for 11.98 a yard (3 or more 9.98/yd.)they're online at denverfabrics.com and have free return shipping. Although it's hard to beat that Thai Silk sale price of 2-something a yard! Is that sale still going on? Wow.
I just got some cream colored 60" wide for 8.99 per yard at Portland Oregon's Mill End store. They do mail and phone order.
Fabric Depot has it in black, white and buff all the time as well as other colors most of the time. They have a website, and it is best to email them and say what you are looking for. They are great. http://www.fabricdepot.com. Britex Fabrics, also has mail order and they have it. You will find it anywhere better bridal fabrics are sold.
