Sizing

juanitalgreen | Posted in Fashion & Design on

How do you go about picking a pattern that your body fits into different sizes. Breast  is one size , waist is in or close to hip size. Do I go with hips and do breast adjustment or go with the beast and have the arm holes in the right place.

Go by the bust size because it's the most difficult to change. Waist and hips are relatively easy. If the pattern is multi-size, you can use the markings to change them. I think I remember articles in Threads on how to do this.

I agree on using the bust measurement. But the measurement should be the high bust especially if you are full busted.. You will have less alterations. You should view various YouTube videos' to explain why.
I wish someone had told me that sooner.
