I would like to find the best way to place snaps on baby/toddler clothes. I have used snap tape but would prefer to affix the snap directly on the garment. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've used snaps from http://www.snapsource.com. They come in all sorts of colors, various sizes, and are applied easily using a tool you purchase along with the snaps (you'll also need a hammer). These snaps seem to stay put, unlike others I've purchased, and are similar to those used in good kids' ready-to-wear. I'm not affiliated with the company at all, but can recommend them from my own experience.
