Are there known sources and brands that you can let me know about for Waistband Elastic. I find that I dread making a pair of pants or a skirt that calls for elastic as the kind I find at the local ‘major’ fabric store is just awful. It always stretches way out of shape. It’s just too loose.

I have used the Stretch & Sew elastic for both pants and skirt waistbands and it's held up very well.
Thank you for the references to online sources for elastic; however, I'd like to know if there's a particular brand that sewers purchase from hometown sources like JoAnn's or Hancock Fabrics?
