Stupid Questions on “Reader’s Closet”

So here I am with all these things that I made that are related (summer stuff). It would be a shame to just fill a 700 Mb CD with one item…
Can I include a few things I made on the CD? Do I have to fill out by hand the form for each thing… or can I write an MS Word document and also burn it to the CD? Would it drive the editors nutty? Does it matter that we drive the editors nutty?
Just asking…

Chris,
Nah.
Are cds the only way to submit your work? Are you allowed to send them over the 'Net?

From http://www.taunton.com/threads/pages/t00197.asp it says:
"We invite you to submit photos of your latest creations -- they might appear on the pages of the next issue of Threads. Print out the Entry Form and send it to the address below, along with snapshots or digital photos on CD."
Now do you see the reason for my question? I am wondering if I can submit a MS Word document to go along with each photo on the CD... INSTEAD of printing out the form and filling it out by hand. I assume that might be easier to read and transcribe to any kind of typestetting system.
It has been a while since I submitted this question, and I suspect there is some kind of mulling going on in the editorial offices.
Hi Chris--I have created a new section called Talk with Amber which alerts me by email to any posts. In the future, that's the quickest way to chat with editor, get answers, etc. Otherwise, posts can sometimes get lost in the discussion threads. Re: Your reader's closet question. That's fine to add the word doc. Just fill out the entry form as well (one) to send along with it. Can't wait to see your stuff and look forward to hearing from you in the future. Best,

Thanks... I plan to take pictures next week. I did manage to save the form on my hard drive and can edit it in MS Word.
To continue... though there may be a delay as I am helping daughter with her Halloween costume. It seems she wants an "Enigma Coat" (which are sold by a company in Newfoundland called "Abby Shot" for $500 USD!). So I am tracing out Burda Mag. patterns that are close!
Sounds good! And good luck!
