I have a length of zipper with the correct extra pulls but am having difficulty attaching the pull to the zipper. Any hints? Thanks.

a spot of dish soap on the teeth, try try try again.and are you backing on to the teeth?
Thanks for the dish soap hint. I am beginning to think I need an extra pair of hands so someone can hold the tape while I tug on the pull...just not enough umph, maybe! I am backing on to the zipper.

As I remember and its been years since I did this sometimes the zipper teeth (coil teeth) have a direction that you want to add the pull on
and sometimes I shortened one side to make it easier to jam the two ends in to start the zipper action
Could you go back to the sale clerk that sold it to you?
Good luck
What about opening the zipper a bit put the pull facing forward and pulling each side thru at the same time . And an extra set of hands is always good
If the zipper is closed, that means you must open the zipper as you put the pull on. Thread the 2 ends of the wider part of the pull onto the zipper. That is the part that forces the teeth apart. The narrow end pinches the teeth together. You have to wiggle each side of the zipper into the pull until it is exactly even for it to work. Then it is like magic and it will just zip open and the pull is on. You don't have to force it. I am wondering if the pulls you have are the correct size for the zipper. There are several different sizes of zippers and pulls available on rolls. You might check to see if the narrow end is the same width as the zipper teeth. If it is not, go back to the store and get the proper pull. Hope this helps. Cathy
