table from empty sewing thread spools

Palady | Posted in General Discussion on

The following URL has a photo of one I’ve seen.  There’s another someplace in cyberspace with a top also made with the spools.

The last one fascinated me because I wondered how the table was used since there appeared to be spaces betwwen the spools of the top.  The URL for this one may be found some day.

I have a lot of spools but maybe not enough for a table. But I did recognize the wallpaper and rose curtains - it is surely a Sanderson Print, maybe even still in production. I have (what looks like) the same drapery on my guestroom windows.

Thanks for posting the link.  Neat use for old spools.  There are a lot of really interesting pieces of furniture made from found objects.  Cathy
