Teach Yourself To Sew DVD series – what fabric is needed?

user-6468727 | Posted in Teach Yourself To Sew on

Hi there,

I just purchased Season 1 of the Teach Yourself To Sew DVD series and I’ve very excited to start.  Assuming all goes well, I expect to purchase Seasons 2-5 as well.  I was wondering what fabric is needed to follow along with each DVD?  Especially the first one, since I will be starting that in a couple of days.

Thank you kindly,

Julia

    Teach Yourself To Sew

For actual construction of a garment or craft made from sewing fabrics, you will be using a commercial pattern and this will give fabric suggestions.

It does appear #1 is a review of equipment.

For testing the initial steps in video #1, cotton might be a good start, then knit for testing the different stitch types.

Best wishes for many successful projects.

Hi.  Where did you purchase the CD?  I want to have a copy too.  Thanks.
