I haven’t been on the Threads website for a couple of months, so I need to say a big Thank You to Threads magazine.  I have complained about some of the recent changes, but I must say that I have come to really like the magazine again.  I didn’t receive the previous issue  (the one with the flowers on the cover) and emailed Threads about it.  I subsequently rec’d the magazine and it was much better than I thought it would be.  The flowers weren’t my thing at all, but otherwise I felt it had really good articles.  I’ve been going back through the old issues, too, and it’s rekindled my interests in some other crafts, like weaving and (don’t laugh) shoe-making.  What a fabulous magazine it was and is!  I have a young friend (12 yo) who’s just getting into sewing and I told her she needs to check out Threads and Sew Stylish.  She and I and another friend spent all day last Saturday sewing.  Next time I’m going to take some of my Threads magazines for her to read.  Thank You, Threads magazine!
