Lil man would enjoy it, his longest flight was One and A half Hours Sydney to Brisbane. We've never been out of Australia. It would be awesome!
Its great to see you all
- obviously having a great time
- and with "the " bag in use!!
You all look as if spending might have been on order - buy anything useful, great to look at or just 'cos u had to have it?
I'm envious of u all being able to go to what is obviously a great show - nothing quite on that scale over here!

Hi Jan,Yes to all those wonderful questions and when I get some time I will post in the appropriate threads on what I bought what I learned and such!! Just a hint...I to will soon be an owner of a needle felting machine...that look for under that thread...I was thinkin of you when I was playing with it and my mind went crazy on the many uses and things that could be had with that machine...So more to come...maybe next year for you???!!Blondie
Hi Connie. Thanks so much for posting the photo of us. It was great to meet you and Robyn. Your handbag was incredible! On behalf of everyone that hasn't gotten to see it in person, I know they'd love to see some close-up photos of the pockets, trims and other features.
Sat down and went through all my treasures from the expo today. Haven't decided yet what project I'll work on first, but I did pick up five great pieces of fabric, including some gorgeous silk/wool blends from The Wool House and more trims and zippers than I care to count from the various other vendors.
The fitting class by Lorraine Henry was undoubtedly my favorite seminar this year. I bought her booklet, Measuring Made Easy, and Barb and I spent about an hour or so taking all of my measurements. It was so great to have a fitting buddy that understands garment construction.
Looking forward to seeing you and Robyn again next year and hoping our other Gathering friends will be there too!
Cynthia
I was so glad to see the picture of the three musketeers. I loved them. You all looked full of joy, which is probably the same way I would feel at one of those expos. Thanks for the pictures, you guys.Marcy
It was fun seeing you too Cynthia and by the way same goes for that gorgeous coat you were sporting...I am sure a few more pics for the peeps here will do just fine!! ha haYa I bought a few items as well.....Blondie
I got back to Mississippi on Monday night after a wonderful week at the Expo and am just now getting caught up on Gatherings. We got to the airport there on the Monday night before Expo and it was snowing then raining, sleeting, and just about anything else cold that could fall but we had a fantastic time. We found antique stores and got some things there on Tuesday before the show. Wed. we had the pre-day. Where did you all met on Friday? I was thinking you had said by the information booth so I went over there but didn't know how to recognize anyone. We bought so much fabric that we had to buy another suitcase to get it home. I took so many classes that I have to go back through my notes to sort it all out soon. We did the tea on Sunday and had Sue Hausmann's husband at our table. Very interesting to talk to. We loved the show and thought everyone was so very nice and friendly. We were glad when the sun came out on Sunday evening though, so we know you do have some sun.
