One of the nice features IMO on the ‘Threads’ web site is the collection of short video demonstrations, from which, I’m sure, many of us have have benefited.
Wouldn’t it be great if Threads magazine would compile a CD that included some more innovative sewing tips and techniques
(especially for those of us who live far away and are unable to attend sewing expos ………..sniff, sniff ;( )
CDs are very easy to distribute, and mailing costs are lower than books or videos, and are a great seller at expos.

That is a fabulous idea. I've been considering buying some Sandra Betzina videotapes, but the costs mount up.
I would love it if Threads would put together a series of CD from their old magazines, this would help us who are new to sewing or returning. When I first starting sewing I did not know about Threads. Now I can appreciate Threads and wish many times I had the magazine from the beginning. I was able once to buy some old magazines from ebay, but even the back issues that Taunton offers now do not go all the way back. This could be also done as a series of e-books. This is at the top of my wish list.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I love this idea! Not only could the short videos be included, but the accompanying article could be added. In that way, all the pertinent information about the topic could be in one location.
I have purchased ebooks before, and cd "books" as well. I love them!
