FINALLY!! I was very happy to see that Tenacatita was specific about her like/dislike with what she has seen in Threads, and was specific about what she would like to see. General complaints about seeing ‘advanced’ sewing techniques is relative. What is advanced sewing for one may be child’s play for another. If you want to see a specific technique … SPEAK UP! Let’s not talk in generalities … Personally, I enjoy surface design and personalizing a garment, especially the ‘Ericson’ style ideas. I do admit that I did not enjoy the machine embroidery … but I know others do … Keep up the good work Threads! I know you aim to please! Susan in MI

I agree with you completely, Susan. Negativity is subjective and produces nothing. I also like the Erisons' style and ideas but didn't enjoy the machine embroidery very much. I was happy to read Carol Freesia's post that they have dropped the machine embroidery.
I also think they try to please. It's a great publication.
