    Try this: http://www.timeanddate.com/world clock

I did figure it out, but for Newcastle, UK, and then from your name it twigged - you are in Australia. I assume the mn is for mountain time, I think Denver, Colorado is in that timezone, but I am in western Canada where we are on DST Pacific. FYI it is now 11:27 a.m., Sunday here, mountain time is one zone east, it would be 12:27 there.

On an old globe, I have one of those nifty little dials that tells you the time anywhere else in the world.  However, there are at least three time zones in the US (more or less, depending on daylight savings time), so we'd need to know which major city and whether you want to know 12 noon or 12 midnight on the 17th-- and whether the midnight is at the beginning of the 17th or the end of it.

As I post this, it is Sunday, Sept. 16th at 2 p.m. on the West Coast (San Francisco, L.A., Seattle).

Figuring out time is always a pain.  There are actually six times zones in the US, four continental, one for Alaska, another for Hawaii.  My oldest son, who makes his living on computers, helped me find this website.  Works great.

    Hi Wombat,

Which part of America? Like Nsw to Wa, United States have different times.

    I use this webstie http://wwp.united-states-usa.com/time-zones.htm

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/ gets you to the same page.

Scroll down, Clicking on a State, eg; Texas, new page opens, scroll down, you will see a Time Table. Shows our Australian Time, Texas Time and Greenwich Mean Time.

I've had fun seeing when all our gathering's friends are asleep, (or should be).

I would see outrageous time stamps on the posts and wonder if the website computer was messing up, or doing some sort of conversion! I am past my bed time right now! So you caught me!
      Good night all,
      Becky
