THIS WAS THE FIRST GOWN I EVER MADE BEING NEW TO SEWING.THIS WAS TAKEN A COUPLE OS YEARS AGO AND IS NOW FOR SELL ON EBAY,IVE COME A LONG WAY SINCE THEN AND HAVE MY OWN SEWING BUSINESS.I CANT STOP SEWING.WISH I KNEW I COULD SEW IN HIGH SCHOOL I FAILED THE SEWING CLASS !

It's hard to believe women once wore fashions like this. You did a nice job whether you can sew or not!! LOL And maybe you just weren't ready to sew back in high school. It happens......

I have a similar story to you. I hated sewing at school. Both my needlework teacher and my mum (who made soft toys for a shop) thought I was terrible at sewing. But ended up as a dressmaker, designing and making bridal wear. Love sewing now.
