TV program on tailored shoulder pads
I saw just the last few minutes of a great TV Threads show, Sew Beautiful, I think that had a man who constructed a set in sleeve on a woman’s blazer. It was perfectly beautiful when he finished making special shoulder pads, doing some hand basting and then steaming the seams. I so wish I could find out who this expert tailor was and how I might purchase the program so I can study his work. Did anyone see this last week – maybe on Thursday here in the midwest?? I’d so appreciate your info.

Hi there,
I saw that program three times - what can I say - I loved that show and am so mad that it is no longer on the air here. The name of the show was Sew Much More and the expert's name is Kenneth King. He's a fascinating designer - I have one of his books - and love to browse through it from time to time just for inspiration.
Hope this helps you. :)

Thank you for your answer! I'll try to find one of his books.
Kenneth King wrote several articles for Threads, the latest one in Threads #124. I wish I can afford all of his books. They are on C.D. You can order them directly from him: http://www.kennethdking.com/book.html.

Thank you! I was stunned to find that this book costs $95.99 used from Amazon. Found one slightly cheaper from Australia and ordered it. Will look into CD's
