types of tailor hams

HelgaPataki | Posted in General Discussion on

Hi everybody, I just want to share with everybody my new discovery:  I also wanted to make a tailor’s or a pressing ham, for years and years now and really loved going through all the how-to sites about making one and decorating one.  Then last week I discovered that out of all the advice that I have read, I own many-many ham-like objects that could be used for pressing:

These are cotton shapes, one of them is a bowling-pin shape (3D) peter rabbit and Mrs. Rabbit that I embroidered out of cotton and lined out of cotton and stuffed extremely firmly.  Peter and Mrs. Rabbit are now both of my favorite pressing hams!

Then I realized that people who like to craft fabric fruits, like small pears and apples, etc. 3D-like and stuff them, can also use these minatures for pressing hams!

Please let me know what you think, and give me more and more ideas!  thank you for reading:)
