Undergarments, on the lighter side

ThreadKoe | Posted in General Discussion on

Cropped this pic from a larger joke going around. Thought it was funny, but also was interesting from an historical POV. It is in WordPad format. My new computer does not have the bells and whistles of the old one yet. If you can’t open it, let me know. Enjoy. Cathy

I couldn't see the attachment. When I clicked, it apparently downloaded, taking approximately a minute to do so, then when I opened it, it was a blank document. Not complaining, just informing.

You are most welcome Josefly. Didn't realize I hadn't transferred all my useful files until I had tried to post it, tee hee. Cathy

Yeah, it sometimes takes a while to catch up with everything going on in this place. I could spend all day here reading and chatting, but nothing else would get done! ;) Cathy

At last absolute undeniable proof of Global Warming !! Now I can see it is really happening. Thank you so much.

    Very funny indeed, Cathy.

And now we know why so many young people don't sew.  Obviously, they feel like clothes will soon be obsolete!!   tee hee

Well, there you go! That's it: total nudity is the next fashion statement.

      1. sewslow67 | | #15

After having to wear so many layers during the last 5-months of 9-feet of snow and freezing weather, total nudity sounds pretty darn good.  However ...at my age, I'd hate to be responsible for so many heart attacks, i.e. scaring people to death.  giggle ...

Love it, love it. I'm somewhere around the climate in 1950. If I wore the 1990 or 2006 versions, we'd need a magnifying glass to find them among the rolls and wrinkles. Or is that, as my son often tells me, TMI (Too Much Information)?

    1. sewslow67 | | #9

Hey JQ; sometimes TMI is fun ...as is OS (over share).  To continue on that same thread (pun intended) ...after having to wear 4-5 layers of clothing for the past 5-months to stay warm, I'm going for the 2009 version.

Oh!   And in case you didn't see it hanging there ...it's not!  Get it?  teehee
