>For a wedding in 2 weeks, a client brought me a Vera Wang RTW bridesmaid gown, VERY pale peach crepe, empire styling. She’s a small girl and can go without a bra. Although the entire dress is lined, “figure details” can be seen through the close fit “slip” style bodice. Any extra lining or a sew in bra is translated to the surface of the fabric. Considering using nude lycra as a bandau bra. Any other suggestions?

the nude lycra sounds good, but if in a bandeau won't it show through? could you make the bandeau underlining the same shape as the bodice, so it ends where the bodice meets the skirt?
or, if underlining shows through to the outside, how about if the seams of the underlining are made so the allowances are facing the body instead of the outside of the dress (or is this done normally with underlining, I don't know)
*By "figure details" do you mean that her nipples show? There areself adhesive bras available, and work best if they are are the color of her skin.In some cases, even a bandaid would do the job, providing it matches. I think it would be a shame to touch that dress if there is a simpler solution. If you do go with an underlining, match her skin as closely as possible, and whatever you do will show as littleas possible.
