uv protection fabric

psc28 | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

I would like to make some uv protection beach wear items for my grandkids…. I think it is called Rash fabric. The stuff in the stores is very pricey. Anyway I’m having trouble coming up with a source. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in Canada so I don't know about US sources.  Go to http://www.justmakeit.com for an e-mail-order catalogue for Textile Outfitters.  They carry UV fabrics as well as a great selection of all kinds of technical and outdoor fabrics and notions.

    hi there,

I've always liked Seattle Fabrics (http://www.seattlefabrics.com) for hard-to-find UV stuff. They ship - maybe they have an option for you? They have a toll-free line, and they're the nicest bunch of folks - I bet if you called them they could suggest economical options.

    Good luck!

    :) Mary
