I recently bought several spools of Venus Rayon thread at a sewing show. Is this a good quality thread for embroidery? The only ones I’ve heard about are Sulky and Madiera. I’m new to machine embroidery (I have a Pfaff 7570) and would like to know what is best to use. TIA. Linda

Linda, I absolutely swear by Madeira's "Polyneon" line. Huge selection of colors, very economical and very easy to work with. It's not as shiny as rayon (which happens to suit my particular needs). I get mine from 5T's Embroidery Supply. The URL is http://www.5ts.com. I highly recommend getting a color card!
