A few years ago, I bought an unfinished quilt from a thrift store made with yo-y0’s. The creator of the quilt used 8 inch circles of fabric for the yo-yo’s. Some had been applied to four strips of summer cotton and then there were many yo-yo’s already made. I took all the yo-yo’s apart, washed and ironed them ending up with 144 circles of fabric. They are all in the orange color family with many different designs including stripes, stars, dots, leaves, insects, fish, serpentine lines and batik-types.
Any ideas how I can utilize these circles? I’m looking for ways to use this stash for clothing purposes. What do you think?
Thanks, Kristine.

I saw a cute vest made of yo-yo's. I'm thinking a long vest would be stunning!
Happy sewing!

Maybe as an accent along a hemline, or down the center of a long sleeve? Or along the seam of a pant leg? Or a collar?
If you are not going to make them back into yo-yo’s, how about laying them out into a clamshell design on the bottom of a skirt or jacket.
I agree with a jacket or vest
