Is there anyone out there that has Vogue pattern #2355 that might be willing to sell it?

It's an Anne Klein jacket & skirt pattern and I need a size 14.

If you get the pattern and complete the garment I would really like to see it as I've always questioned the shaping (i.e., how the shape is held) through the waist.

    I hope this helps.

I am looking for a bigger size, about size 14 and don't know if yours will work.

I made this pattern many years ago and it fit great.  I believe I added a couple of box darts at the waist, front and back (four in total) just to accentuate the waistline a bit more, but it looks great belted too.

With the use of box darts I take it that you used no boning of any sort to help hold the shape? I just love this pattern, but have not ventured to make it.

Right.  I didn't use any boning.  I was working with a wool melton, so the fabric was firm enough to hold the box pleats beautifully.  I then did away with the facing and used a braided trim on the edges, so construction was very quick and the jacket has held for years.  Good luck.  If you can post photos of the jacket when you're finished, I'd love to see it.

I'm not so sure I will get this jacket done this winter. I do have a piece of black wool melton that I've been eyeing for this particular jacket for quite sometime now.

Wanda, I actually made this jacket in velvet and I wore it for many years. I loved the fit and didn't do anything but follow the directions. It was a great jacket.
