Hi! I have been sewing for several years, and just recently found some information on sewing lingerie. It sounds like fun, but I can’t find some of the trims that I’d like to try. Stretch lace wider than 1 inch is not to be found in my area (Peoria, Illinois). I’ve looked at Wal-mart, Hobby Lobby, and Hancock fabrics. Does anyone know where I could find them?

Donna, I've ordered lingerie-sewing supplies from http://www.sewsassy.com and received very good service. They have a changing inventory of laces, but you can check their website or call to see what they have.

Carol,
Thank you! They have a lot of other things I like as well!
Me too! I've ordered a number of things from them to experiment with basic lingerie sewing. It's really a lot of fun--easy and providing almost instant gratification. Enjoy!

Donna, (and anyone else!) there used to be a company called Keiffers which sold lingerie fabrices, elastics, and many many laces and trims. Does anyone know if they are still around? Used to be a catalog.
Here's their web page. http://www.kieffersfabrics.com/
I've just looked at Kieffer's. They have some nice stretch laces. Thanks to you and Gail!
