Can anyone recommend a retail source and maunfacturer for water repellant fabrics (ie those used in athletic apparel home sewing projects). I’m specifically looking for a Gore-tex type fabric. Thank you!

Great little shop in Corvallis OR. called the Rain Shed. And they do have a web site. It's a colllege town with a lot of people doing the outdoor stuff.
In Canada, go to http://www.justmakeit.com . They have all kinds of outdoor and sport fabrics.
