Waterproof Linen

Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone knew of resources for what I believe is called “bonded linen”? It’s linen or cotton treated with a waterproof layer, but it’s not as heavy as oilcloth. It’s actually quite supple. I’ve seen commercial children’s raincoats made of it, and read about it once in an old issue of Threads, but can’t locate the article. Hmmm….. You know, I’ve always wondered what those gorgeous, amber raincoats in the “good morning, good morning” scene in “Signing in the Rain” were made of… perhaps it’s similar to this…
