Hi Barb- found you again. I giess we'll all be here too. Happy New Year! SW must be down-can't get in. Talk with you soon-& how was that frittata?
*Marilyn, how are things in Palm Springs? I hope you had a great Christmas. I've missed chatting with you but holidays just don't leave enough time for work, family AND computers!!!! Talk to you soon I hope.
*Connie-so good to hear from you. We have been missing one another. We had a wonderful Christmas-Tyler really got into it. What a thrill. It was just wonderful to be with family and to have us all together. When I couldn't get into SW I went to that other spot and couldn't get in either. So I had heard about Gatherings and here I am. Thanks for the note! Cleaned out the wrapping paper closet today as I was putting everything away- tomorrow hope to get to the sewing area-and maybe have some time to sew!!!
*Marilyn, glad you had a good Christmas. yes this is a good site for sewing. If you have a question someone here will answer it or send you in the right direction.hello Connie! I think the Sewing world is getting smaller, fancy seeing you both here.
*hello to everyone in Welcome back. Sounds like you have been doing this for a while. I'm new to the computer but not the sewing machine. Looking forward to networking. Have a Happy New Year everyone
*Hi Barb & Connie and hello to Cat. Christmas was wonderful. Now on to normal projects. Cleaned out closet where I keep all the wrapping stuff-today will tackle my sewing area. This is my first UFO to accomplish-to find out what I have in there. Then on with SEWING-can't wait. SW is still down this am - still trying to find another way in but if the server is down probably won't have any luck. Catch you later.
*Hi, Barb. I hope you had a great Christmas and things were as joyous in Ithaca as they were in Maggie Valley. My parents fly back to Ohio tomorrow but my DB and SIL stay for another week. This is a great site, now that it's easier to use (a lot like using SW). We have to let Pat and Alison know about this one. I've just not had time to go into the chatroom and catch anyone. Happy New Year to everyone
*Marilyn, I think that when one of these sites goes down, the other one will be the best alternative for staying in touch...Now DON'T ask me what we'll do if they both go down at the same time...hehehe. My UFO's are 1) finish the 5 year old sweater, 2) finish my Dad's quilt (my mom loves hers), 3) clean the closet in the den (filled with "stuff"), 4) lay a piece of carpet in my bathroom...and not necessarily in that order. I have a sewing class starting Jan. 5, so that will take a lot of my "free" time. Happy New Year to all.
