A few years ago, I’d see several ads for pressing machines: the kind that close down on your fabric and generate lots of steam and pressure. I’ve recenlty noticed that I rarely see these machines advertised anymore. What happened? Were they just fad? Is something wrong with them? Inquiring minds what to know?——————————————————–

Try Costco's websiste--I think I saw a couple a few months ago.

I suspect that the reason they disappeared is that few people other than sewers actually iron, and apartments now have laundry cupboards, rather than in-suite laundry rooms. No place to store those bad boys!
