Where to find Cotton/Lycra Stretch Fabri

windrush330 | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

Can anyone tell me where I can find White fabric that is 96% cotton and 4% lycra which has a nice stretch in it for elasticized waist pants.  Just My Size sold pants using this fabric at WalMart stores; however, in the past 2 years they are not available.  I contacted Just My Size to no avail.  Any suggestions.  I live in the Chicago suburbs.  Thanks!

Have you tried http://www.sawyerbrook.com?  They had quite a bit of cotton with some lycra in it last year.

I can't guarantee exact percentages you request:Spandex House: have ordered from them. Quick to send samples if you want them. English is their second language: whoever answers the phone has had no trouble understanding me, but sometimes I have to ask them to repeat something.Seattle Fabrics: Sell sturdier fabrics for outdoor activities and gear.

I have in stock white heavyweight knit in 92% cotton/5% nylon/3% lycra. Contact me if you would like to receive a sample.

Hi Joy....thanks for your help, but at this time I'm trying to stick only to the cotton/lycra fabric.

Try SewZanne's Fabrics.com - -might not be a good enough selection - but easy to try on the net.
