Does anyone know where I can buy the wide elastic used for belts? I want to make my own and haven’t been able to locate a source. I’m looking for something 2-3″ wide in a variety of colors. Also, the hardware for these belts are needed.

I looked for the same kind and I could not find any either. I ended up with some black elastic that we found at Joanns. I looked everywhere for it. Good luck. I wish I could have been more helpful. Maybe we will both know if someone else posts. Hope so.

If you have a square dance group near by, check with them or any place that sells square dance outfits. My mother had a different belt of this type for each square dance set, and she had dozens. I remember that she ordered some from a square dance catalog as she did NOT do anything on-line.
