Hello ,Would there be somone who could show me in a sketch or photo how to add a bra wire to the inside lining of the bathing suit that am making . i am somewhat heavy and have a senior age bosum , kinda droopy if you know what i mean ,with only about a generous B cup. The consoquence of this is bathing suits sold as plus size expect that you will need a D cup . There s no way these suits can fit people with less endowed figures . That is what is basically in the retail market . i would appreciate your knowledge if you would kindly share how to do this .Siama

Hi siama,
i found this blog online, it may or not help;
http://bra-makers.blogspot.com/2006/06/crossing-channel.html . . . Channelling is the tube into which the underwire slides and it circles the base of the breast at the wire line . .
Read through the page, it also has pictures.
hopefully someone else here has more ideas.
Hi Cherrypops, Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my help request . I have some older pages from bev. bras site , but not this great picture and detailed instructions on just the channeling which is what i;m stuck on. I have been interested in trying the bra making for quite some time . I am just always making clothes and dont get around to ordering the supplies , i think im also fearful it will be to hard to get a good fit . etc . supplies are not easily available either !I'm curious being that you were aware of bev. blog are you into making your bras ? Thanks again , Siama 63
I am so glad I helped. Honestly, I don't know anything about bra-making, I searched http://www.google.com.au and the Blog site was in the list. Lucky guess on the channeling.
another website you may know of is;
http://custom-bras.deofsf.com/ Don McCunn ( he wrote articles for Threads a long time ago, of more recent times he wrote a post here on this forum ).
