Wonderful true life sewing story

Incredible true life story.

    Thanks Louise,

    This brought me to tears.  It's amazing the quilts and the girls survived.  It made me think of my mom's cousin in Montreal.  He was a member of the Canadian Riflemen who was captured in Hong Kong Christmas 1941 and spent the remainder of the war in a slave labour camp.  He was so brutally tortured and starved that a died not that long after the war.  The article is a  beautiful story of human perserverence and ingenuity.
