Hi,
Open question: which fiber will have the least damage on your hair for a knitted hat– wool or cotton?
Let me know.
Thanks!

Hi
Damage? Do you mean that your hairdo will be flattened when you wear a hat?

Wool is stretchier, warmer, and lighter in weight; cotton can be stiff and heavy and stretches out of shape if it gets wet. High quality wool is soft and not scratchy; there's nothing that makes cheap wool less itchy!
The new wool/acrylic blends are nice; most are machine washable and combine the natural properties of wool with the durability and softness of synthetics.
Thanks for the info -- I like the idea of Wool and Acrylic.

It probably depends on the hair type. Curly hair can get caught in wool fibers and pulled out.
Thanks!
