Hello everyone! I owe a small clothing shop in Florida. I design and make clothing and I would like to purchase woven labels to sew on to my garments. Right now I simply make my own loop style label and write Luna Myst on it with a fabric pen and then heat set the writing. I would like to have something more professional but I do not know a lot about purchasing woven labels. I do know I will have to purchase a large quanity and this is not a problem. However, I do not know the correct vocabulary to get the kind of label I want. I would like to find something similar to the projectalabama.com label. Could anyone help me?
Thank you,
Misty

I was looking into this myself. I found a website http://www.clothinglabels4u.com and I thought I might do some work with them, once I got my act together and decided what I wanted! From the reviews, they seem to be willing to work with you on this.Fashion

For woven labels in small quantities (minimum order is 25), you may be interested in Heirloom Woven Labels . . . They have six different "templates" . . . working with their layout, you can have them woven with the wording you like . . . I used them for a long time and currently using up the last of what I have . . . I'm finally at a point that I need a few thousand labels . . . which makes a totally custom label easier to justify

Thank you for the info. I would have no problem purchasing 1000 because I do want to have professional labels.
I have purchased from Newark Dressmaking supply. They are reasonable, and I think they also have a website if you do a search.
Thank you!
I have purchased labels from both Apparel Label International (http://www.clothinglabels.com) and ClothingLabels4U mentioned above. Both provided excellent product and service. I will probably continue to use ClothingLabels4U, in part because they are cheaper, and I liked the more personalized service. You do have to buy a minimum of 1000 labels from either one.
HTH!

I have purchased labels for http://www.sterlinglabels.com for many years. Very reasonable prices and will print any quantity, any design including custom logos.
This one.
