zipper in a pocket

scorpion1 | Posted in General Discussion on

Hello,

this is the first time I am posting; I would like to use Sandra Betzina’s technique for a zipper in a pocket (as explained in her book Power Sewing Step by Step) in my next pair of pants.

I am wondering whether this technique can only be used with a dartless pants front or whether it can be used with dart(s) as well.

Thanks for any help,

scorpion1

Darts, pleats, plain front - it really shouldn't matter as long as you have a pocket that is open all the way to the waist on the side. They work really well.
