I designed this dress in my CAD class and made it as my final project.  I wore it to the Palomar College Fashion Show as an attendee.  In this Sweetheart neckline dress the lace is overlayed onto white satin, then treated as one piece of fabric.  Matte blue satin for the side pieces(side front and side back in one piece for the design element). Centerted lap zipper and the sleeve caps were hemmed on the inside with the outside edges cut to the lace and extra flowers added for fullness.
