Asymmetrical Bridal Gown

Threads #181, October/November 2015

For a nontraditional bride, designer and Threads contributor Kayla Kennington created a wedding dress using her 0225 A-List Tunic pattern. The tunic is made of ivory lace embellished with individually applied white feathers and prong-set clear rhinestones. Kayla also sewed a matching textured silk slip to wear beneath the sheer lace tunic. The ivory slip has spaghetti straps and a handkerchief hem to mimic the tunic’s asymmetric hemline.

Enjoy a 360-degree view of this creative wedding dress, and zoom in for a close look at the details.
