After a fairly mild fall, it’s time to prepare for the long winter season. Look great this winter with these new and fashionable designs.


Look put together while feeling comfortable with Simplicity 8021. This design is sized for stretch knits only. Double knit, ITY (Interlock Twist Yarn) knits and jersey are all acceptable fabrics to use. Extra fabric will be needed to match plaids, stripes, or one-way design fabrics.


Simplicity 1014 is a great pattern if you want something that is simple yet dressy. This pattern is sized for stretch knits only. Lightweight double knit, ITY knits, jersey, spandex blends, stretch velvet, and lightweight sweater knits are strongly suggested. This pattern also calls for extra fabric that is needed to match plaids, stripes, or one-way design fabrics.


The pattern from Simplicity 1560 is a timeless and classy look. This design can be made with a wide variety of fabrics. Keep the following options in mind when selecting your material for this skirt: lightweight denim, pinwale corduroy, lightweight wool and wool blends, silks and silk types, challis, crepe, crepe-back satin, jacquards, laundered silks-rayons, double georgette, and velvet. Extra fabric is needed to match plaids, stripes, or one-way design fabrics.


The designs from Simplicity 1321 are skirts for warmer weather. For these skirts, Simplicity suggests that you use lightweight to medium-weight woven fabrics such as brocade and challis. Extra fabric is needed to match plaids, stripes, or one-way design fabrics.
