Style Tip: Consider a statement version in a knit with a bold digital print.

Try a quick, below-knee, pull-on knit skirt. This design is form-fitting, with negative ease. It consists of two panels joined by diagonal seams in front and in back, with edgestitching along the front seam and a front hemline slit. The waistline is finished with an elastic facing and shaped with side darts. Our tester found this project great for a beginner. The sewing can be done in a couple of hours. It is a well-thought-out design and nicely drafted, resembling designs used in the apparel industry, with narrower seam allowances, and essential markings and notches. A placement line for stripe direction is illustrated on the pattern so you may showcase a striped fabric. Select firmer knits, such as ponte or scuba, to give the skirt body, or go with jersey for drape.
(Sized 4-30 for hips 32.6-61 in.)

Style Tip: Consider a statement version in a knit with a bold digital print.
