This jacket was made using Vogue 8480 and 140 Capri Sun Juice Bags. I got this idea last year at a quilt show while looking at all the wearbles and thinking they needed something in the “green” category. So, during the summer, I had the neighbor kids save me their juice bags, and proceeded to make a jacket with the juice bags that were pieced together to fit each pattern piece, cut out, then sewed, by overlapping, to the next piece. All pattern pieces were used, except pockets.

Now this is crazy :) Truly an original. I like it. I bet it was alot of fun to do.
I've seen the tote bags, but this is really fun. Would make a great raincoat or umbrella too.
