My 10 yr old grandson wanted to be the Joker Dark Knight. He thinks grandma can make anything and I love him for that, so I try. So I went to my stash and started sewing. I made everything including the tie. It turned out even better than I expected. I used a Pattern for uncle sam as a base and redesigned the parts I needed to. It was nice to have just what i needed in my stash. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Why it should win.Normally his big brother and friends don’t want the younger brother to go trick or treating with them. But this year they thought he looked so cool the wanted to show him off. And of course figured they get better candy lol.
He loves the costume so much and I worked so hard to make it real, that he is now wearing just the coat. Says it’s a good coat and it’s he’s. What more can a grandma ask for.
So I not only made the costume but a happy halloween for the family and friends trick or treating.
